Ventrella's no-hitter highlights Lisle's basball homecoming
One error only blemish as Lions win in first home game in nearly two weeks
LISLE — What a homecoming.
Playing its first true home game in nearly two weeks after severe flooding at Lisle Community Park, Lisle High School’s baseball team saw Alex Ventrella throw a no-hitter as the Lions blanked Seneca 4-0 on Monday.
“The first batter of the game reached on an error, otherwise he throws a perfect game,” Lisle coach Pete Meyer said.
