Triton College hosts community recycling event

Cook County's Environmental Control department is one of the sponsors for a community recycling event that will take place Saturday, May 4, at Triton College, 2000 Fifth Ave., in River Grove.

The collection will include electronics, clothes and shoes, bicycles and medication. Participants wishing to dispose of medication should bring it in its original container, but should remove any identifying information from the prescription label. Liquid products, intravenous solutions and syringes will not be accepted.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the college's parking lot, north of the Cernan Center.
