BOLINGBROOK — The Monday after Bolingbrook High School's weekend prom celebration, the softball team mustered just two hits in a 4-0 loss to SouthWest Suburban Blue foe Sandburg.

Dani Knaak singled to lead off the game for the Raiders (8-5 overall, 2-4 SWSB), but the next — and last — hit was Lizzy Zielinski's one-out single in the fifth inning. Zielinski reached on an error in the third and Knaak drew a one-out walk two batters later, but Bolingbrook couldn't muster a rally to respond to Sandburg's three runs in the second.

Megan Lotarski yielded nine hits in seven innings but was able to limit the damage, particularly in the fifth when the Eagles had runners at first and third with just one out. Sandburg managed one run in the frame. Lotarski struck out six and walked two, and Bolingbrook committed four errors.

The Raiders are scheduled to travel to Joliet West Tuesday before returning home for games against Lincoln-Way East (4:30 p.m. Thursday), Argo (10 a.m. Saturday), Lincoln-Way Central (4:30 p.m. Monday) and IMSA (4:30 p.m. May 7).
