Have something to say? It's time to Sound Off!
Are you a resident of Chicago's western suburbs?
Do you have opinions that you'd like to be heard?
We've got just the thing for you.
Visitors to mysuburbanlife.com already have the option to submit letters to the editor and to comment on stories. For these features, we ask that you use your full name and hometown.
But sometimes you've got something to say and a good reason not to use your name. Maybe you're worried that someone you know won't like your political opinions. Maybe you don't want your coworkers quoting your own words back to you at the watercooler.
Maybe, in this age of social media obsession, you just don't want everyone imaginable to know everything there is to know about you.
That's where Sound Off comes in. With a quick call or email, you can make yourself heard.
Go ahead and give it a try. Call 331-481-6089 and leave a short message, or email email@example.com. If you call, please try to keep it under a minute, and if you write, aim for about 50 words or less.
When we've collected enough sound bites, we'll publish them here at mysuburbanlife.com, and we may print some in the newspaper, too.
A couple notes ... we won't run anything with objectionable language, and if you go too long, you probably won't make the cut. We reserve the right to edit for style, grammar and clarity, but we won't do anything to change your meaning.
So give it a try. Call 331-481-6089 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and share your thoughts!
