B.R. Ryall YMCA encourages healthy living for kids, families through event Saturday

GLEN ELLYN – B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County is encouraging children and their families to move, learn and live healthier through YMCA's Healthy Kids Day on Saturday.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at B.R. Ryall YMCA, 49 Deicke Drive in Glen Ellyn. Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative of the YMCA that features a variety of free family activities, including Zumba, family volleyball and more.

The event will include many local community vendors, such as the Glen Ellyn Public Library, DuPage Children’s Museum, Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Department and Willowbrook Wildlife Center/Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.

B.R. Ryall YMCA serves residents in Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton and Winfield. More than 200 families attended last year's Healthy Kids Day.
