LOMBARD — Two women were arrested and charged with prostitution-related offenses on April 17 following an investigation at Elite Massage, 1263 S. Main St., in Lombard.

Chang U. Williams, 62, 138-49 Barclay Ave., Apt. 1L, Flushing, NY, was charged with prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license. With her was Soon Rye Kim, 52, 24000 Cahuilla Road, Apple Valley, Calif., who was cited with improper massage for allegedly failing to keep body parts covered, police said.

The arrests came after the Lombard Police Department launched an investigation on the business after receiving a tip from a civilian, said Deputy Police Chief Pat Rollins.

On multiple occasions, an undercover officer with the department went to the business for a massage and after the officer was offered services outside the boundaries of a legitimate massage, charges and citations were issued, Rollins said.

Elite Massage is still operating as a local business.
