Letter: Saturday mail service redundant

To the Editor: It baffles me as to why the stoic old lame duck Congress would even consider involving themselves with a Saturday mail delivery issue. Having Saturday delivery is a waste of time and resources.

All this amounts to be is wasted overtime and overkill, which is redundant. Postal carriers might just like a five-day-a-week job, but the stoic old lame duck Congress say, "no way!" Why doesn’t Congress reconsider allowing pilots to work past their 60th birthday, maybe even to age 65?

Congressional people as old as they are lunge forward well past their 90s! That's another issue for them to ponder about.
