WEST CHICAGO – West Chicago District 33 will kick off Fitness Month for students with its fifth annual Wellness Walk on Friday.

Students and staff members will be joined by community members for the walk. Cadence Health is commemorating the walk's five-year milestone with "We Can Walk Every Day" wristbands for all students and community members who walk at least one mile.

As part of Fitness Month, WeGo Together for Kids and the West Chicago Park District are offering students the chance to win a one-day pass to Turtle Splash Water Park in West Chicago by participating in 600 minutes of physical activity during the month of May.

WeGo Together for Kids is a community collaboration made up of more than 40 partners who seek to support West Chicago students and their families in achieving success.
