Library to screen 'The Lorax,' plant a tree in honor of Arbor Day

LEMONT – The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., is hosting an Arbor Day celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

Parents and kids are invited to view a screening of “The Lorax” in the children's meeting room. After the movie, library gardens coordinator Judy Apke will plant a tree in front of the library.
