Cops: Bolingbrook, Berwyn man charged with assault

BOLINGBROOK – A Bolingbrook and Berwyn resident were charged with aggravated assault for separate instances April 12 and April 14, according to Bolingbrook police.

James Conley Jr., 46, 304 Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with resisting a peace officer, aggravated assault and an in-state warrant in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive after a call to residence for a disturbance about 10:50 p.m. April 12, according to police.

Shawn Rodges, 23, 2244 Gunderson St., Berwyn, was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, illegal transportation of alcohol and a seat belt violation following a traffic stop at the intersection of Bolingbrook Drive and Robinhood Way about 10:39 p.m. April 14, police said.
