Berwyn woman dies in crash on Harlem Avenue

BERWYN – A Berwyn woman was killed when the car she was a passenger in was struck at 11:34 a.m. April 20.

Police said a car driven by George Milojevic, 64, 2325 S. Clarence Ave., was stopped in the southbound lanes of Harlem Avenue in the process of turning left into Cermak Plaza at 23rd Street.

According to police, an SUV stopped in the northbound lanes of Harlem Avenue waved Milojevic to proceed with his turn when a vehicle driven by Starlin Lewis, 43, 6631 23rd St., Berwyn, struck Milojevic's vehicle in the passenger side.

Miriam Milojevic, 63, was pronounced dead at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn at 12:08 p.m.
