It is with great anticipation that I look forward to the honor of serving the residents of Westmont as their mayor.

I have lived in Westmont for 36 years and have been employed by the Westmont Park District since 1977. I have been the executive director since 1980, a position I currently hold.

I chose Westmont as my home, a place to raise my family and a place to become active in numerous community organizations. I am married to Antonette (Toni) and have two grown children, Bradley and Natalie.

Over the years here in Westmont, I have been involved in many community events and activities.

I believe that with more than 35 years of community service to Westmont through my career at the Westmont Park District and my involvement with other organizations, I am more than capable to serve as mayor.

My strengths are: leadership, cooperation, integrity and problem solving. I am a good listener and am able to see both sides of a situation and get everyone to work together.

I am looking forward to providing quality leadership to the Westmont Village Board and staff over the next four years.

With the loss of revenue due to the repeal of Home Rule, now is the time for everyone to work together for the betterment of our town.

I also would like to take this time to commend the work of the Village Board over the past years. In May, with the three remaining trustees and the three newly elected trustees in place, I am looking forward to providing the leadership to move Westmont forward.

There will be challenges ahead. I believe if we work together and listen to our residents, we can continue to make Westmont a great place to live, work, shop and play.
