Four current or former Bolingbrook High School students will be among 12 students participating in this weekend’s ACT-SO Gold Medal Showcase at Benedictine University in Lisle.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, the showcase is designed to celebrate the talent and intellect of regional gold medal winners as they prepare to compete in July’s National Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO).

Among the 12 will be Bolingbrook High School junior Jordan Henderson (film), sophomore Justin Payton (entrepreneurship), Adrian Smith from the class of 2009 (oratory), and Jason Mitchell from the class of 1998 (music vocal contemporary).

Tickets can be purchased in advance are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets purchased at the door will be $2 more per person.
