Remains found by youths in Woodridge identified as missing Lisle man

WOODRIDGE – Authorities have identified remains found last month in a wooded area in Woodridge as a 37-year-old Lisle man missing since 2007.

The cause of death of Anthony Scott Arcaro is still unknown and is under investigation by the Woodridge Police Department, the DuPage County Coroner’s Office and the Lisle Police Department, according to a release from the village of Woodridge.

Around 1:30 p.m. March 30, two youths walking in a wooded area in the 7900 block of Lemont Road found the skeletal human remains. The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Unit and the Felony Investigative Assistance Team (FIAT) recovered evidence that led to the identification, according to the release.
