Wheaton police receive suspicious incident report involving youth
WHEATON – The Wheaton Police Department received a report of a suspicious incident involving a child on Tuesday, according to a department news release.
At about 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, a young male was approached by a suspicious vehicle near Danada Drive and Naperville Road, police officials said. One male driver and female passenger were in the car and offered the youth candy. The driver and passenger appeared to be teenagers, according to the release.
The vehicle was a dark- or light-colored older Oldsmobile, the release reads. No license plate information is available.
