Some streets in West Chicago have been reopened
WEST CHICAGO – Several streets in West Chicago closed earlier Thursday due to flooding have been reopened, according to the city's Police Department.
Arbor Avenue at Hawthorne Lane is passable with standing water. Both Ingalton Avenue at Hawthorne Lane and Town Road have been reopened.
As of 4 p.m., the following roads remain closed: Roosevelt Road from Joliet Street to Wegner Drive for flooding at the Canadian National Railroad viaduct, and Downs Drive from Kress Road to Industrial Drive.
