BOLINGBROOK –  Sections of Royce and Weber roads will be closed for "some time," according to Police Lt. Mike Rompa, who added that there is no timetable as to when the roads will open.

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, Royce Road, between Route 53 and Greene Road as well as Weber Road, between Royce Road and Boughton Road, will remain closed, Rompa said.

Both sections cross DuPage River and the surrounding natural bodies of water, which flooded Thursday morning, according to police.

The rest of Bolingbrook's streets are now open, police said.

Some Bolingbrook residents are still experiencing storm-related power outages, and crews are working to resolve the issue, Rompa said.
