Lisle apartment complex evacuated by boat due to power outage, flood waters

LISLE -- A Lisle apartment complex had to be evacuated Thursday as residents there lost power and were trapped by flood waters.

Residents of the Towers of Four Lakes Village complex in unincorporated Lisle were evacuated by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office and the Lisle Woodridge Fire Department via boats, according to a release from the sheriff's office sent at about 3 p.m. Thursday.

The residents were being transferred to Benedictine University.

There were no reports of injuries at the apartment complex, 5885 Forest View Road.
