Flooding forces area school closings, NWS issues Flash Flood Warning

DUPAGE COUNTY – Dozens of schools across DuPage County and the Chicago area have closed their doors Thursday as the area deals with the threat of flooding.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for DuPage County and the Chicago area as another storm beared down on the area Thursday morning.

The NWS advisory states that some communities have declared states of emergency as "countless roadways are reported undewater and impassible."
