Namaste Salon in Glen Ellyn hopes to set world record through Cut-a-Thon
GLEN ELLYN – Staff at Namaste Salon in Glen Ellyn hope to set a world record as they support water conservation efforts Monday through Aveda's Earth Day Cut-a-Thon, according to a salon news release.
Namaste is one of many Aveda salons across the United States participating in the Cut-a-Thon. All proceeds from haircuts and spa services at Namaste will be donated to the Alliance for the Great Lakes. For a donation of $35, participants will receive a haircut and style.
Aveda salons are attempting to set the Guinness world record for the most money raised for charity through haircut donations in a 24-hour period.
