Bolingbrook boys have oportunity to 'Hit, Pitch and Run' to MLB All-Star Game

BOLINGBROOK – Major League Baseball's "Hit, Pitch and Run" contest is coming to Bolingbrook at noon Sunday.

Hosted by the Bolingbrook Youth Baseball League from noon to 5 p.m. at Indian Boundary Park, the skills event is free and open to all boys ages 7 to 14.

All-around, pitching, hitting and running winners will then advance to sectionals, where they will compete for a chance to take part in the team championships at a Major League Baseball stadium.

The winners of the team championships will advance to the national finals, which will be held at the 2013 MLB All-Star Game.

Indian Boundary Park is located at 990 W Boughton Road in Bolingbrook.
