Clarendon Hills Park District offering soccer, football programs

CLARENDON HILLS — The Clarendon Hills Park District's mini-soccer class and "Fun with Football" program will meet from Tuesday through May 21 in Prospect Park.

Mini soccer is for boys and girls ages 4 to 6 and will meet from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons. This class is an introduction to the sport of soccer and offers instruction in running, kicking, passing and game play.

Cost of this program is $60 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $75 for residents of nearby communities. Advance registration at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Ave., is required.

"Fun With Football" for young players ages 4 to 6 will meet from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoons. This class will cover passing, catching and offensive and defensive skills.

Cost of this program is $60 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $75 for children living in nearby communities. Advance registration at the Community Center is required.
