Kiwanis sets table for spaghetti dinner

COST/INFO: The Batavia Kiwanis' 26th annual all-you-can-eat youth fundraiser spaghetti dinner is set from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at Riverview Banquets, 1117 N. Washington Ave. (Route 25), Batavia. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for those ages 6 to 11. It is free for those younger than 6. Carryout is available. Kiwanis clubs are volunteer-based and offer an atmosphere of fun, learning and fellowship. Kiwanis members typically volunteer each month to assist with club service projects. In a typical year, Kiwanis clubs worldwide organize more than 150,000 service projects—both locally and globally—and Kiwanis members dedicate more than 12 million hours of service.
TriCity Services annual benefit

COST/INFO: TriCity Family Services will have its 24th annual benefit dinner and auction, "All That Glitters … Treasuring Teens” starting at 5:30 p.m. April 20 at Lincoln Inn Banquets, 1345 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. This evening of celebration will include a seated dinner, silent and live auction, raffles and entertainment. Cocktail attire is required. Tickets are $80 each. Tables of eight can be purchased for $600. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $750. Sponsorship and ad purchase opportunities also are available. All proceeds benefit TriCity Family Services. Identity theft workshop
WHEN: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20
WHERE: Bethany Lutheran Church, corner of Wilson and Lincoln streets, Batavia
COST/INFO: An identity theft workshop is being offered at Bethany Lutheran Church in Batavia, sponsored by Thrivent Financial. Identitiy theft typically falls into one of three categories: the unauthorized use or attempted use of existing credit cards; unauthorized use or attempted use of other existing accounts, such as checking accounts; or the misuse of personal information to obtain new accounts or loans, or to commit other crimes.

Sing and play toddler-parent program

WHERE: Immanuel Lutheran Family Life Center, 950n Hart Road, Batavia
COST/INFO: Immanuel Lutheran School in Batavia will offer a free sing and play toddler-parent program in Immanuel’s Family Life Center at 950 Hart Road, Batavia. The program will be led by a certified early childhood teacher. The 45-minute classes are designed for children 18 to 36 months old and will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays during April and May. Teen Band Night
