DOWNERS GROVE – Police are looking for a male suspect in the robbery of the Citibank at Main and Curtiss streets in Downers Grove around noon Wednesday.

At 12:08 p.m., Downers Grove police responded to Citibank, 5134 Main St., for a report of a man that robbed the bank.

The man left on foot prior to the arrival of officers, police said. The suspect is a white man, approximately 5-foot-10, 45 to 50 years old, with a short, white "five-o'clock shadow" beard.

He was last seen wearing an orange construction-type helmet, orange shirt, jeans and sunglasses.

Police are continuing to search the area for the man.

The investigation is being conducted in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is ongoing at this time. The public is asked to call 911 to report any suspicious person or vehicle to police.

No one was injured during the incident and no further details are available.

An Illinois State Police K-9 unit was also on scene.
