HINSDALE – On April 25 and May 2, Community Consolidated School District 181 is hosting a two-part symposium – Advancing the Learning for All: The Future of Our Schools.

Each day of the symposium will feature sessions that touch on a variety of topics ranging from Common Core State Standards and summer school to an overview of the recently approved Advanced Learning Plan. There also will be a discussion about collaborative time and the option of possible implementation of late start.

Interested individuals are required to pre-register for either or both sessions no later than April 23 by visiting the symposium webpage at d181.org/Academics/TheFuture.

Attendees will first hear a welcome message from Superintendent Renée Schuster and then move into the first of two breakout sessions; attendees choose their sessions upon registration.

Organizers emphasize that while attendees won’t be able to hear every session, materials for all sessions will be made available for download before the conference.
