VILLA PARK — To help residents dispose of personal documents and eliminate risk of identity theft, state Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Elmhurst, will host a free, community shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon April 22 in the parkling lot of her constituent services office, 28 S. Villa Ave., Villa Park.

All residents and local businesses are invited to bring old bank statements, credit card applications, outdated medical records, old tax returns and other personal documents to be shredded.

Conroy will be assisted by members of the York Student Enrichment Team from York High School in Elmhurst.
