Residents and community members interested in learning more about the Affordable Care Act are invited to attend a free seminar that will provide information about what elements of the law have already been implemented and what changes will be made in the coming year.
The seminar will be presented by Diane Adduci, community relations specialist with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, and will run from 10 to 11 a.m. April 23 at the Addison Public Library, 4 Friendship Plaza.
A second seminar will take place in Lombard the same week and offer information to help people understand benefit packages provided by employers.
Mary Gruenberg, an insurance agent and owner of Soarella Consulting in Lombard, will host the seminar from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 25 at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting, 455 Eisenhower Lane South, Suite 200, Room 6.
Both programs are being offered in connection with Money Smart Week DuPage, which takes place April 20 to 27 and is designed to provide DuPage County residents with information and resources to make smart financial decisions. There will be more than 45 events held throughout the week for residents.
