LOMBARD — The five members of the 2013 Lilac Princess court were presented with their tiaras during a special ceremony last week at the Maple Street Chapel, 220 S. Main St.

During this event, the princesses — Jennifer Ruhl, Laura LoVetere, Taylor Godbey, Megan Cotterill and Claire Castelli — also were given gifts of lilac bushes from the Lombard Garden Club. It has been a longtime tradition of the garden club to give each princess a lilac bush during Lilac Time.

The Lombard Garden Club will sell lilac bushes May 9 to 11 at Lilacia Park.
