City of Darien to start treating 2,500 trees for Emerald Ash Borer

DARIEN — The Darien City Council recently approved a program to treat about 2,500 ash trees located within the city’s parkways for the Emerald Ash Borer.

The trees will be treated by the city arborist beginning April 15. Informational flyers will be distributed, prior to the treatment, to residents who have an ash tree located within their parkway.
