Published: Thursday, April 4, 2013 2:59 p.m. CDT

WHEATON — The Wheaton Warrenville PTA Council will host a Community Unit School District 200 board candidate forum Thursday after the event was postponed in February due to weather.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Wheaton North High School, 701 W. Thomas Road in Wheaton. It is scheduled to end at 8:30 p.m.

The forum will begin with an introduction by PTA Council President Kelly Weber. Stephen Maynard Caliendo, political science professor at North Central College in Naperville, will moderate the forum.

Board candidates are incumbents Ken Knicker, Barbara Intihar and Joann Coghill, and newcomers Brad Paulsen, Bruce C. Fogarty, Janet Shaw, James Mathieson, Kyle Nenninger and Harold Lonks.

Each candidate will be given time to address attendees with a two-minute introduction. Caliendo will then ask candidates questions from the audience for about an hour before each candidate is given one minute for a closing statement.
