Saturdays at Primrose Farm

WHEN: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6 WHERE: Primrose Farm, 5N726 Crane Road, St. Charles. COST/INFO: Come out to Primrose Farm on Saturdays for a variety of programs. Each program is designed for ages 4 and up and those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee for each individual program is $5 for residents and $ 7.50 for non-residents of the St. Charles Park District. On site registrations are accepted. Come for one or a few, your choice!

• Farm Story Time - Gather to hear a tale about life on the farm. Enjoy a snack and special visit with Primrose Farm's animal residents. 10 to 11 a.m. • Chicken & Egg - Farm fresh eggs for all! Help gather eggs straight from the nest of the chicken coop. In this hands-on tour, learn the how and why of backyard poultry among some feathered friends. All pickers take home a share of the eggs. 11 a.m. to noon. • Afternoon Tea Party - Enjoy a pleasant afternoon tradition. This hour around the Summer Kitchen table includes refreshments, music and conversation. 1 to 2 p.m. • Feed the Animals - Please! Get a behind the scenes opportunity to help feed the farm's animal residents and learn about the care and feeding of livestock. 2 to 3 p.m.
