LA GRANGE — This year’s La Grange School District 105 Band-Aid Benefit concert will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a foundation that supports breast cancer research.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at Gurrie Middle School, 1001 S. Spring Ave. in La Grange. Performing at the event will be the Gurrie concert band, concert orchestra, concert choir and the Gurrie Middle School jazz ensemble. The event will also feature a keynote speaker and solo performances by students and special guests.

All proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which was voted on and selected by District 105’s students. Students are hoping to raise more than $2,000 through the fundraiser.
