Beatles tribute band to perform benefit concert May 2 for SEASPAR

DOWNERS GROVE — Popular Beatles tribute band American English will perform a benefit concert for SEASPAR at 7 p.m. May 2 at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave.

The band was voted “No. 1” by thousands of Beatles fans as winners of sound-alike contests at Beatlesfest for three consecutive years, according to a press release.

The act begins with the early years of Ed Sullivan and includes classic Beatles favorites such as “She Loves You,” “Twist and Shout,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” and many others.

Patrons of Scarletti’s Italian Kitchen and Gatto’s Restaurant & Bar in Downers Grove who present their concert tickets on the night of the event will have 10 percent of their dinner bill donated to SEASPAR.

The concert is being sponsored by Bank Financial and the Tivoli Theatre.

Ticket price is $20, or $25 after April 26.

Tickets are available at the SEASPAR office, Bank Financial, Anderson’s Bookshop, and Consider It Done in Downers Grove.
