LOMBARD — Before Thursday night's Board of Trustees meeting, residents and community members are invited to attend a reception the village is hosting for 18 German exchange students visiting the community.

These students are staying with 18 host families from Glenbard East High School who live in Lombard, Glendale Heights and Bloomingdale. Every other year, a group of German students travel to the village.

The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and conclude with the beginning of the board meeting at 7:30. Refreshments will be served.
