GLEN ELLYN — The B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County launched its annual community support campaign Monday to help ensure the organization can continue to provide programming and other services to residents in DuPage County, according to a news release from the organization.

B.R. Ryall YMCA serves residents in Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton and Winfield.

Donations to B.R. Ryall YMCA remain in those communities to support programs that encourage youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the release reads.

“Through our community support campaign, we want to educate people that we are more than a place to exercise or swim, but a charity that does vital work thanks to the financial support of the community," Chief Executive Officer Lynda Chott said in the release.

Funds raised will not only support various YMCA programs but also help provide financial assistance to children, families and individuals in the community, according to the release.
