Willowbrook to host community night as Feed My Starving Children fundraiser

VILLA PARK — Students at Willowbrook High School are hosting a community movie night on Thursday to raise money for the Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack event the seniors at Willowbrook and Addison Trail high schools will be hosting in May.

Two movies will be shown at the community movie night: Dive and Silent Killer: The Silent Fight Against World Hunger. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the evening is expected to wrap up around 9 p.m. Concessions will be available and guests can bid on assembled gift baskets.

Feed My Starving Children is an organization that packages and distributes specially-formulated, nutrient-rich meals to impoverished children around the country. The senior classes at Willowbrook and Addison Trail are working collectively to fundraise $22,000 to package 100,000 meals at Willowbrook on May 18.
