Westmont library holding children's poetry event

WESTMONT — In recognition of National Poetry Month, the Westmont Public Library is giving children a chance to learn how to write poetry.

The event, Poetry Workshop for Kids, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7 at the library, 428 N. Cass Ave.

For grade-school age kids, they will explore different types of poetry, share their poems and compile a poetry book together.
