Park District hosts inaugural spring wine tasting in April

LA GRANGE — The Park District of La Grange will host its inaugural Spring Wine Tasting from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 19 in the DeSitter Room, located on the second floor of the park district's recreation building, 536 East Ave. in La Grange.

Attendees will be led through the tasting by staff from Winestyles of Seven Bridges.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to sample over 30 wines from around the world while enjoying music and hors d’oeuvres. Bottles of the wines that are available for tasting can also be purchased at a discounted price at the event.

The event costs $19 for residents of La Grange and Countryside; $21 for residents of Western Springs, La Grange Park, Brookfield, La Grange Highlands and McCook; and $25 for anyone else who would like to attend.

Attendees must be at least 21 years old to participate in the event.

Registration needs to be completed by Sunday, April 7 to attend the tasting. Only the first 80 people to sign up will be able to attend.
