ADDISON — The body of a man found dead in Salt Creek in Addison last week has not yet been identified.

"We're obtaining dental records and identifying that, so we have not done a positive ID yet, but we're still working on that," DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgensen said on Saturday.

A spokesperson reached again on Tuesday at the coroner's office said the release of any information on the case was "pending investigation."

A rollerblader crossing Salt Creek on Wood Dale Road discovered the body on Thursday, Addison officials said. Addison's fire department removed the body from the creek and turned it over to the coroner.

Police officials investigating the case could not be reached for more information.
