HINSDALE — The Hinsdale Humane Society will host the 24th-annual Pet Walk June 2 at Katherine Legge Memorial Park.

The walk-a-thon for people and pets, which helps homeless animals and celebrates pet ownership, is the Hinsdale Humane Society's largest fundraiser.

Donations will help feed and care for animals in need of homes, provide medical services to sick and injured animals, rescue animals in emergency situations and provide humane education to enrich the lives of individuals and animals alike.

The goal is to raise $12,000 and donations can be made at firstgiving.com/hinsdalehumane.

The walk starts at 9 a.m. and features vendor booths, food, entertainment, prizes, giveaways and more.
