Elmhurst police charge teen with possessing 37 hydrocodone pills

ELMHURST — A 17-year-old girl was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance when the car she was riding in was stopped by police for one headlight at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday at Butterfield Road and Poplar Street in Elmhurst.

Elmhurst police did not release the girl's name, nor where she lives. She allegedly had a bottle containing about 37 hydrocodone pills, according to police reports.
