Oak Brook Police Department reports success during March campaign
OAK BROOK — On March 14 and 15, the Illinois Department of Transportation partnered with the Oak Brook Police Department to remind drivers to buckle up and not drive impaired as part of the merged "Click it or Ticket, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" mobilization.
During the mobilization, the Oak Brook Police Department issued citations for one person allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, three for having suspended driver's licenses and five for uninsured drivers. Twenty-two speeding, nine safety belt and 10 other citations also were issued.
