Luncheon and spring trip dates set for Rainbow Club at the Clarendon Hills Park District

CLARENDON HILLS — The Clarendon Hills Park District's Rainbow Club for active adults ages 50 and better has scheduled its annual spring luncheon and three spring day trips.

Rainbow Club guests will gather at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Ave., from noon to 2 p.m. April 2 for the annual "Spring Fling" luncheon. Advance registration is required.

On April 16, the Rainbow Club journeys into the city for a "Secret Chicago" trip with "About Tours." A luxury motor coach will leave at 9 a.m. and will return by 4 p.m. The cost of the tour is $72 and includes transportation, lunch and a professional guide.

Rainbow Club travelers will also be on the road April 25 when they visit the Theatre at the Center in Munster, Ind., for a performance of "What A Glorious Feeling." There is a $61 fee for this show and the registration deadline for this program is April 4.

The final Rainbow Club journey for the spring will be May 30 when the club travels to Indiana Amish Country for an all-day visit. A luxury motor coach will depart at 7 a.m. and will return by 7 p.m. There is a $75 charge for this tour, which includes transportation, sightseeing and dinner.
