LOMBARD — On April 2, two leaders from the Lombard community will host a special presentation at Glenbard East High School, where they will tell stories and share experiences of the time they spent living in Asian and African countries.
David Larson, superintendent of Glenbard High School District 87, and Dave Gorman, assistant public works director for the village of Lombard, will present.
Larson spent his early, childhood years living with a primitive, stone-age culture in Indonesia and lived in Malaysia during his high school years. Gorman spent three years serving in the Peace Corps, where he was stationed in the Kingdom of Lesotho, a mountainous country in southern Africa.
Both men will share photos and stories during the special presentation at 7 p.m., April 2 at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St. Lombard. The event is free and open to community members.
