Wheaton city crews fill increased number of potholes

WHEATON — The city of Wheaton’s Street Division is doubling the number of crews filling potholes throughout the city.

The freeze-thaw cycle and increased amounts of moisture have recently caused more potholes to appear on area roadways. Crews will continue filling holes using a cold patch process.

The city asks that drivers use caution around roadway crews as they work and appreciates residents' cooperation.
