Warrenville man charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon

WARRENVILLE — A Warrenville man has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a police department news release.

It is alleged Michael Morrison, 50, was involved in an aggravated assault incident that occurred at about 9:25 p.m. March 15 near 2S501 Illinois Route 59, according to the release.

The Warrenville Police Department arrested Morrison on March 21 with the assistance of local businesses and area residents, according to police officials. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct. Morrison was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court April 25, according to the release.
