Brook Forest student Adi Badlani youngest to compete at state Geo Bee

OAK BROOK — Brook Forest fourth grader Aditya (Adi) Badlani will be the youngest competitor at the state’s National Geographic Bee.

The Bee, which is for fourth through eighth graders, will be held April 5 at College of DuPage. Adi is the only fourth grader in Illinois to qualify for the National Geographic Bee at the state level.

To be eligible for the state level Bee, participants had to compete at the school level, then take a qualifying test and submit it to the National Geographic Society. Adi was the Brook Forest School champion before reaching the next round.
