RIVERSIDE — Police have taken into custody a second suspect in the March 7 burglary of a Riverside home.

Police said Jimi Sieja, 18, of North Riverside was charged with residential burglary at 8 p.m. Sunday. Sieja was the second suspect that was involved in a residential burglary March 7, where three suspects went to a Riverside home in the 100 block of Lawton Road to commit a burglary and had targeted the juvenile son of the homeowners for his drug stash.

Over the last several weeks, information became available that led police to this second suspect. The offender currently in custody had picked up the other offenders, drove them to the residence and assisted in gaining entry to the home.

Police are still looking for a third suspect.

Riverside Police Chief Tom Weitzel said the investigation is still ongoing and police expect additional arrests will be made in the next couple of weeks.
