VILLA PARK — This week, John Heidelmeier, a candidate for the Villa Park village president position, issued information about the individuals and local organizations that have endorsed him in the upcoming election.

This list includes state senator and current Village President Tom Cullerton; Villa Park trustees Chris Aiello and Don Kase; Bob Schillerstorm, former DuPage County Board chairman; Tony Ragucci, mayor of Oakbrook Terrace; Liz Chaplin, DuPage County Board member; Teamsters Local 700 - Villa Park Police Sergeants and Lieutenants Union; Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters; IUOE Local 399 Operating Engineers; and Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 501.

"I am truly grateful to each person and organization who has chosen to give me their endorsement," Heidelmeier said. "These endorsements were not gathered haphazardly; it is a testament to the relationships I have forged with a diverse group of people and organizations."
