Guitar swap event to benefit Elmhurst Yorkfield Food Pantry

ELMHURST — Fitz's Spare Keys, 119 N. York St., is hosting a musical instrument swap meet where residents can bring their old guitars, microphones or other instruments from noon to 6 p.m. April 6.

At the meet, affordable guitars, amplifiers and accessories for the starting or professional musician will be offered for sale or trade.

Price guides and appraisals will be available, along with an open mic and live entertainment by the Daytrippers, a tribute to the Beatles. Food and drinks will be available throughout the event. Free parking is available just steps from the event at the public parking garage located at Schiller Avenue and Robert Palmer Drive.
